Sarah Palin: Conservative of the Year by Ann Coulter

Sarah Palin wins HUMAN EVENTS’ prestigious “Conservative of the Year” Award for 2008 for her genius at annoying all the right people. The last woman to get liberals this hot under the collar would have been … let's see now … oh, yeah: Me!
The entire presidential election year was kind of a downer for conservatives. Once the “maverick” John McCain won the nomination, the rest of the year was like watching a slow motion car crash. Except at least a slow-motion car crash is occasionally entertaining. So it was going to be a long year.

Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin is a leader on Amazon.com’s best-seller list

A 2009 calendar of the former Republican vice-presidential candidate is currently the top item on the Amazon.com's list of “Office Products and Supplies.” You can get the calendar here:

In October of this year, the calendar was put together by former Wasilla deputy mayor and friend-of-Sarah Judy Patrick. She is an Anchorage-based photographer.
Today, according to a new Gallup Poll, Governor Palin is the second most admired woman in America, behind New York Sen. Hillary Clinton but ahead of Oprah Winfrey.

Sarah Palin is no Congre$$women

Congress is about to get a $4,700 pay raise stating in 2009. Now let's remember we gave $85 billion to AIG then $700 billion to the mortgage lenders and now $17.4 Billion to the auto makers. Now my point is that we are in a recession and this is no time for congress to boost their bottom line. Sarah Palin understands that. A new state commission recommended raising the governor's pay from $125,000 to $150,000. But a spokesman for the governor said if the commission pushes ahead with a pay raise, Palin won't accept the money. It seems to me that Sarah Palin is the only politician that knows where to spend the taxpayers money in a economic crisis. That is one of many reasons why this site has endorsed Sarah Palin for the Republican nominee for President.
